Cornwall enters Tier 3 on 31st December 2020 - changes for St Buryan Church

Dear Friends,

Happy New Year and I hope that your Christmas Celebrations went well despite the challenges.

Thurs 31st December 5pm on Facebook Land's End Churches page New Year's Eve Service saying farewell to 2020 and looking forward to 2021.

Cornwall is in Tier 3 now, and we are allowed to continue to meet for worship, but we do have to keep alert, use sanitiser going in and out of church, sitting with a clear 2m distance around. We do have to make sure the track and trace details are provided. Please wear a mask, and do not attend if you either have any Covid19 symptoms OR if you have been advised to isolate after coming in contact with someone who has developed Covid19.

BUT in Tier 3 we now have to also ask that you do NOT SOCIALISING NOR SIT with others who are not in your household before and after church.

Should you wish to discuss matters solely arising from the Coronavirus pandemic with Reverend Canon Vanda Perrett, could we respectfully request that these calls are made during office hours.

Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic it is with regret that the planned retreat for 17th-21st March was cancelled - hopefully it will be rescheduled for Autumn - details to follow

“We believe in an inclusive Church...   a church which does not discriminate on any level, including: economic power, gender, mental health, mental ability, physical ability, race or sexuality. We believe in a Church which welcomes, accepts and serves all people in the name of Jesus Christ; which is scripturally faithful; which seeks to proclaim the Gospel afresh for each generation; and which, in the power of the Holy Spirit, allows all people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Jesus Christ.”   Inclusive Church
